Goal 1: Instruct/guide patrons in the information problem-solving process and use of resources.
    Major Objective: The Library-Media Specialist will collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate information skills instruction with curriculum units.

Goal 2: Provide direct information and consulting services, including curriculum development.
    Major objective: Library-Media Center staff will support the district goal that Grimshaw students will exceed State Language Arts Standarfds.

Goal 3: Provide access to appropriate resources and equipment in the building and beyond;
    Major objective: Library-Media Center staff will use interlibrary loans from Public Libraries and School Library Systems to help patrons solve an ever-increasing variety of information problems.

Goal 4: Promote awareness and appreciation of the various genres of literature.
    Major objective: Library-Media Center staff will call patrons' attention to the wide variety of literature on hand and seek regular input for further collection development.
