Onondaga Nation- The Kindergarten class was very excited for their visitors, the 8th graders.
The 8th graders visited the Kindergarten classroom to share their poetry that they wrote in Mr. Seitz' class. Their poetry was very funny as they shared their feelings about, school, sports and pets.
Jade of the Kintergarten class said, "They were funny. I liked it."
Here is a sampling of one of their poems:

Chicken Soup by Mia and Liam
Its lunch time,
I wonder what
we’re having!
I’m a hungry student.
Mmmmmm…
I’m a hungry fly.
Bzzzzzzzzz…
Chicken soup!
I get my bowl of soup
from the lunch lady.
I can’t wait to get my
spoon in that soup!
I get my bowl of soup
from some kid’s tray,
I can’t wait to get my feet
in that soup!
Mmmmmmmmmm…
soup!
I’m going in for the kill…
I’m going for the
dark piece of chicken…
I’m not chicken Bro!
Did you hear something?
Oh well. Ewwww.
The chicken is moving!
Don’t eat me!
Mmmmmmm…
Bzzzzzz…I’m not very tasty
Oh yes you are!
But, but I’m full of salt!
That’s okay, I like
salty things.
Oh well, good-bye world.
It’s been nice knowing ya…
Get in my Belly!
mmmmmm…
Bzzzzzzz…
