English Language Arts (ELA) is a class that concentrates on reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.  Students will use a variety of texts and other media throughout the school year in order to improve their skills in these areas.  The class uses both group and individual assignments to meet the requirements of the Common Core Learning Standards (CCLS).  All students can expect to be challenged and are expected to set lofty goals for themselves as we work together to achieve success!
