LaFayette Jr./Sr. HS's parking rules restrict cars from driveway loop at certain times:
During school arrival and dismissal times, LaFayette Jr./Sr. HS's front driveway loop is reserved for school buses only.
Other motor vehicle parking and through traffic are not permitted in the loop from 7:15a to 7:45a and from 2:35p to 2:50p. This allows us to safely transport our students. Parking is available in the north and south parking lots for school visitors including those who are dropping off or picking up students.

On September 6, 2016, Governor Cuomo signed a new law requiring public schools in New York to test for lead in all water outlets currently or potentially used for drinking or cooking. The new law makes New York the first state in the nation to require all of its public schools to conduct lead testing on all sources of potable water.
